Like a kid
When I was a kid, the adults in my life attended to my needs.
It's my turn now to take care of the kids in my life.
I need more space. We need space. Please give us time.

"How's married life?"
That's the question that we get from well-meaning friends and relatives these days. We have yet to settle into a routine, is this considered good?
It had only been 4 weekends since we got hitched. We have yet to spend one full day at home to enjoy the fruit of our labour. Wedding dinners, falling sick, spending time with our parents, him finishing late at work, etc....I wish we can find time soon to take walks in the park opposite our home, browsing through the shopping malls, just taking time at our own leisurely pace and romancing each other.
We attended a wedding celebration last night.

Sawadeeka.....
Some post-wedding thoughts
It had been a very eventful, life-changing month. So many things happened, I will probably need a day or so to type out my thoughts.
First of all , our wedding couldn't have happened without the tremendous help and support extended by our relatives and friends. When we approached friends for help, it allowed me to wonder what kind of friend am I? Did I talk that person when I needed his/her help with the wedding? Have I ever been interested in this person's life? Was it all about me and our wedding?
Not only our helpers but also our invited guests.....Why did they have to spend money and time just to celebrate OUR wedding? After the wedding, they are like quite out of our lives.
I felt like we enjoyed ourselves at the expense of others....
I am very grateful to dear friends who showed up and gave their best in giving us a day to remember. These friends played major roles for the day. They cast their own personal issues and discomforts aside. Unsettled issues, shed tears, bruised spirits or angry tonsils yet they smiled, created ra-ra, made sure schedule was going a-ok, everything's taken care of, all with the single-minded goal of making 10th September 2005 beautiful for ZM and I.
