Life's most holy relationship

I remembered and managed to dig out our marriage vows......

I, WSB, take you JSPT, to be my wedded wife. I thank the Lord for the love that has bound our hearts and lives together in spiritual fellowship of marriage. As we enter upon the privileges and joys of life's most holy relationship, and begin together the great adventure of building a Christian home, I will look to Christ as Head of our home as I have looked to Him as Head of the Church. To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness or in health, to love and to cherish 'till death do us part. This is my solemn vow.

Why the words 'Through It All'? This was one of the songs we picked for our wedding ceremony. I speak for ZM and myself that today, we want to praise and thank the Lord for seeing us through these 2 years of marriage and more to come. Not every day was lovey-dovey. Two different persons coming together and two very different families. Arguments, fights, tears and at the same time laughter and joys abound.

Eunice 'tendered' her very first resignation last Thursday.

The decision-making process wasn't easy. It was made even more difficult when one of the caregivers spoke to me last evening. Sigh....women are the sentimental ones....

I didn't cite all the reasons why we pulled Eunice out. I just gave a really lame 'Management', which is partially true. It's due to bad management that filtered down to the staff level.

Seemed to me she's not happy with the management too. She told me what kept her going were the babies. With that, her eyes turned red.

Really, it's the ties that bind. Eunice has been blessed by their love and care. Some of the teachers might not have been good, but I know they had tried. They have their 'off' days.

It will be difficult to say goodbyes. In my heart and mind, I believe the move will be better for Eunice and ourselves.

I hope it is a wakeup call for the management.
